Why are the payment plans I see on my account's payment calculator different than the ones on the website?

At PatientFi, we aim to provide you with clear and transparent financing options. However, you may notice differences between the payment plans displayed on our public Payment Calculator and the plans available within your account. Here’s why this might happen:

Key Differences Between the Website Calculator and Your Account

1. General Estimates vs. Personalized Options

  • Website Payment Calculator:
The calculator on our website provides general estimates based on typical financing terms. It’s a tool to help you explore potential payment scenarios.
  • Account Payment Calculator:
The calculator within your account reflects personalized payment options based on your credit profile, provider-specific terms, and any promotional offers you qualify for.

2. Provider-Specific Plans

  • Payment plans vary depending on your medical provider’s partnership with PatientFi. Providers may offer specific terms, such as promotional 0% APR financing, which will only be visible in your account.

3. Credit Profile and Loan Details

  • Your approved payment plans are tailored to your creditworthiness and the transaction amount. These details are not factored into the website’s general calculator but are considered for your account-specific options.

FAQs

Why doesn’t the website calculator show my personalized rates?

The website calculator is designed for general use. For personalized plans, you need to log in to your PatientFi Borrower Portal after you have an approved application.

Can I apply directly from the website calculator?

Yes! Simply click the "Apply Now" button underneath the payment estimate on the right hand side of the window.
