How Can I Cancel an Approved Transaction?

Once a transaction is approved and funds are disbursed to your provider, the transaction cannot be canceled. This process is immediate, and as soon as you accept a transaction, the loan amount is sent directly to your provider. Therefore, cancellation is not possible after approval.


Important Information

  • Immediate Disbursement: Funds are disbursed immediately after you approve a transaction. As such, the transaction is considered final and cannot be canceled.

  • Work with Your Provider: If you wish to cancel or modify the treatment plan after funds have been disbursed, you’ll need to contact your provider directly. They may offer a refund or adjustment based on their policies.

  • Payments Are Still Required: Even if you cancel the treatment with your provider, the loan agreement remains in effect, and payments must still be made according to the agreed-upon terms. Only when your provider cancels the loan and returns the funding to PatientFi, will payment no longer be required.

What should I do if I need to cancel the treatment?

If you wish to cancel or adjust your treatment, you must contact your provider directly. PatientFi cannot cancel the transaction after funds have been disbursed.

Will I still need to make payments if the treatment is canceled with my provider?

Yes, even if the treatment is canceled, the loan agreement remains active. You will still be responsible for making payments based on the terms of the loan. Once your provider cancels the transaction and returns the funding for the loan, you are no longer required to make payments. Any payments made will be refunded to you. 

Can I request a refund from PatientFi if I don’t want the treatment?

PatientFi does not handle refunds for treatments. Refund requests must be directed to your provider, as we only facilitate the financing of the transaction.

What if I change my mind after accepting a transaction?

Unfortunately, once the transaction is approved and funds are disbursed, it cannot be reversed. Please ensure you’re ready to proceed before accepting any transaction.
