Disputing a charge on your PatientFi account?
If you are trying to cancel an approved transaction, you will need to contact your provider directly. Since PatientFi pays your provider upfront for any loan financed through us, your provider would need to reverse the charge.
Important Information
- Immediate Disbursement: Funds are disbursed to your provider once you approve a transaction.
- Work with Your Provider: If you wish to cancel or modify the treatment plan after funds have been disbursed, you’ll need to contact your provider directly. They may offer a refund or adjustment based on their policies and whether or not services have been completed.
- Payments Are Still Required: Even if you cancel the treatment or appointment with your provider, the loan agreement remains in effect, and payments must still be made according to the agreed-upon terms. Only when your provider cancels the loan and returns the funding to PatientFi, will payment no longer be required.
FAQs
Will I still need to make payments if the treatment is canceled with my provider?
Yes, even if the treatment or appointment is canceled, the loan agreement remains active until your provider cancels the financing. You will still be responsible for making payments based on the terms of the loan. Once your provider cancels the transaction and returns the funding for the loan, you are no longer required to make payments. If you've made payments towards the loan, they will be refunded to you.
What if I change my mind after accepting a transaction?
